What can I say about Tootie? Tootie was the sunshine in my life for about 40 years! She always knew how to have a good time and make me laugh (and sometimes cry)! I remember playing with her in the only big snow that Charleston, SC had in our lifetime. I remember crying together when we saw each other for the first time before our Senior prom night. I remember many fun beach trips and just laughing together when we spent the night with each other quite often. Probably the best thing that would describe Tootie to those of you who do not know her, is the Senior Superlative title she was given in our senior year of high school -- Most Popular. That title says it better than I can ever express in words! She was a true blessing in our family's lives and the lives of so many people in the Charleston, SC area. May the joy of her life she shared with me continue to live on for many years in her daughter.
